Winners of the 2016 Grand prix d’aménagement “building in floodable lands”

The Grand Prix of Territorial Development “How to better build in floodable lands” reward each year projects that stands out for the exemplary, the method, the integrated approach and the relationship to the uses. Selection is also based on associated strong messages such as resilience, risk culture and population information.

In the construction category, the Environmental Cluster of Auxerre received a special mention: “Public Equipment”.

This “House of the Environment” project is an architectural success that uses sustainable building principles as a tool for raising awareness of natural risks in accordance with the objectives of the National Flood Risk Strategy.

For this building, Phosphoris Engineering has been responsible for the design and project management of HVAC, plumbing-sanitary, electricity and the application of the principles of High Environmental Quality. Its role also includes green energies: Photovoltaic, Water-Water heat pump, etc.
